Safety, compliance and validation support for electrified products

Helping engineering teams reduce risk, strengthen technical documentation, and prepare for validation, regulatory, certification, and safety-critical design milestones

The evidence may not.

A working prototype is not the same as a defensible product. Before customer review, lab testing, certification engagement, or release, teams need requirements, risks, design assumptions, validation plans, and evidence to line up.

A working prototype is not the same as a defensible product. Before customer review, lab testing, certification engagement, or release, teams need requirements, risks, design assumptions, validation plans, and evidence to line up.

WT Engineering helps teams identify gaps, clarify technical rationale, organize validation evidence, and prepare documentation that can stand up to engineering, customer, lab, or certification review.

Teams usually need support when:

testing is approaching and the validation plan is incomplete
requirements are not clearly linked to risks, standards, or test evidence
safety functions, diagnostics, or fault responses need clearer documentation
failures, deviations, or technical issues need structured follow-up
customer, lab, or certification documentation is not ready

Benefits

Support When Programs Hit Complexity, Risk, or Compliance Pressure

Support When Programs Hit Complexity, Risk, or Compliance Pressure

01

Unclear certification pathway

Standards, markets, test requirements, and approval expectations need to be mapped before the team commits time and budget.

04

Functional safety work needs structure

Hazards, failure modes, mitigations, and safety requirements need to be translated into practical engineering actions.

02

Requirements gaps

System requirements, safety requirements, risks, and validation evidence are not connected clearly enough to defend.

05

Validation planning pressure

The team is approaching test, certification, or design review and needs a clearer evidence plan.

03

High-voltage architecture concerns

Battery, BMS, contactor, protection, sensing, or diagnostic assumptions need independent technical review.

06

Temporary senior technical support

The internal team is capable but overloaded and needs focused help through a critical milestone.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you provide certification or act as a notified body?

No. WT Engineering does not act as a certification body, notified body, or accredited test laboratory. The focus is engineering support: validation planning, documentation, evidence preparation, technical review, and readiness before or during external engagement.

What types of companies do you work with?

Companies developing electrified, battery-powered, high-voltage, safety-critical, or standards-driven products. This may include clean-tech, marine, industrial, vehicle, equipment, energy storage, or related product teams.

When should we contact you?

The best time is before a major test, customer review, certification engagement, design review, or release gate. Earlier support usually reduces rework, but I can also help after failures, deviations, or documentation gaps appear.

Can you help if we already have a lab or certification partner?

Yes. WT Engineering can support the engineering side: preparing evidence, reviewing gaps, writing reports, organizing technical documentation, responding to questions, and helping internal teams prepare for external review.

Do you support functional safety?

Yes, where appropriate. Support may include hazard analysis, safety requirements, safety concept work, FMEA/FTA support, and validation planning for safety-related functions. Formal certification or independent assessment should be handled by the appropriate recognized body where required.

Do you work hourly or fixed-fee?

Both can work. Short assessments and defined documents are often fixed-fee. Ongoing validation, documentation, or engineering support is usually structured as a weekly or monthly fractional engagement.
